Localized diversions remain in effect; please follow all signposted directions and exercise caution near heavy machinery.

Community Programs and Public Spaces

Residents are encouraged to engage with ongoing community initiatives and enjoy local amenities while observing current notices:

  • Aurora in Bloom: The immersive light installation at the Albury Botanic Gardens remains open nightly until Saturday, 11 April. Part of the Luna Light Journeys series, the event offers low-sensory sessions during the first timeslot each evening for those with specific accessibility requirements.
  • Australia Park Levee and Carpark Works: Construction of the new earthen levee and carpark facility is ongoing. Foundation work for the future pedestrian bridge involving reinforcement installation is active. Pedestrians should utilize signposted detours and remain clear of designated exclusion zones.
  • Animal Adoption Program: The Albury Animal Care Centre is waiving adoption fees for cats and dogs until 30 April. This initiative aims to find permanent homes for local animals, with additional support provided to help new pets transition into their homes.
